| - In 2002, at the age of twelve, Jennifer Pike became the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition. In January 2008, she was honoured with this year's South Bank Show / The Times Breakthrough Award. Jennifer is the first classical artist to be awarded this award, in acknowledgement of the impact that she has made during 2007 both in her own field and throughout the arts as a whole. | |
| - Last year she celebrated her 18th birthday with a recital in the Wigmore Hall. Earlier this year she appeared in Chester Cathedral where she performed Vivaldi's The Four Seasons with Manchester Camerata. |
